Physical AbuseWhat is Physical Abuse?
Physical abuse is when physical force is used on someone in a way to cause harm or endanger them. Physical abuse/ assault is a crime and you have a right to be protected from it. Signs of a Physical Abusive Relationship You feel like you are constantly walking on thin ice with your partner or abuser Constantly watching what you say or what you do to avoid getting yelled at or abused Your partner belittles you and tries to control your life (ex: limits the time you can hang out with your friends or family, control where you go and how much money you spend) Feeling depressed, low self-esteem, helplessness, etc. REMEMBER, It is still ABUSE.... if the abuse seems minor. There is no such thing as a better or worse physical abuse. if the abuse takes place 1 or 2 times http://psychcentral.com/blog/archives/2013/02/20/signs-of-emotional-abuse/ |
