Safe sex is... Good Sex
Safe sex is protecting you and your sexual partner from potential sexually transmitted diseases, also known as STDs, or unwanted pregnancies.
STDs include, but are not limited to, Chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, trichomoniasis, genital herpes, genital warts, hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV. Methods to protect yourself during sexual intercourse include male condoms, female condoms, dental dams, or any form of birth control. CONDOMS..... are the most common and preferred method of protection for any form of sex between partners. Both female and male condoms can be used for vaginal, anal, and oral sex. It is VERY important to use condoms, and use them CORRECTLY, every time. They protect against STDs and unwanted pregnancies. (Which the YouTube videos will demonstrate) -----> And NEVER use the same condom twice. After ejaculation, if the penis is still erect, safely remove the old comdom and place a new condom on the penis and continue with pleasure. Male condoms come in different shapes, sizes, and lubrication to enhance sexual pleasure. The dental dam works much like a regular condom, but has to held in place during oral sex. Much of them are flavor more a more enjoyable experience. If your having some trouble finding dental dams in you local stores, some alternatives is cutting open a regular male condom or non-microwaveable seran wrap. (This video will demonstrate how to properly use dental dams) -----> **FLAVORED condoms are recommended only for oral sex and not vaginal or anal sex, unless they are sugar free. BIRTH CONTROL.... is a protection method that protects only against unwanted pregnancies, but DOES NOT protect against STDs. There are different forms of birth control. They should be discussed with a woman's physician in order to determine which one will be the most effective and reliable form for her. They can come is pill form, shots, patches, and small devices that are inserted inside a woman's vagina. They may have cycles that range from seven days to up to 5 years. They include, but are not limited to; birth control pills, viginal hormonal ring (Nuva-Ring), hormonal patch, Depo-Provera Hormonal injection shot, hormonal inplants, Intra-Uterine Device (IUD), and diaphrams used with spermacides. |
